Moreover, it counteracts business models of companies that pay such low wages that their employees still have to top up despite full employment. These companies are therefore subsidised by the state, which is outrageous. They "deserve" only one thing: uncompromising insolvency. With a basic income, workers can escape such wage models, it gives them back their dignity.
